Difference between HDD and SSD

HDD OR SSD
what is 2.5 external hdd /internal hdd what is 3.5 external hdd/internal hdd
that is just how big the hard drive is. 2.5 inches or 3.5 inches

HDD is your classic magnetic hard drive. They are typically cheaper per GB, require defragmentation and have a chance to fail the longer you have it.

SSD is the new storage devices. They have no moving parts, they are faster, they have almost no chance of failing, they do not require defragmentation, and more expensive per GB.

Most people get a HDD for general storage, and a SSD to store your OS on it for faster boosts and store a few games where you want faster start up times. Since the read and write are alot faster.
